The Challenge
Operations teams needed a shared view of automated actions and approval steps instead of disconnected manual handoffs.
My Contribution
I owned TypeScript/React/Next.js features from workflow data models through dashboards and release. I built versioned FastAPI services and reusable connectors, and worked with AI teams to expose planner outputs through bounded execution contracts.
The Solution
Users configured workflows in validated control panels, then followed execution through streamed status updates. Versioned definitions and durable checkpoints supported long-running automation, while scoped connectors controlled access to external systems.
Engineering Decisions
Durable checkpoints, versioned workflows, retries, Redis queues and streamed status; Docker/Kubernetes delivery, unit/workflow integration tests, API documentation and recovery procedures.
What This Enabled
Teams had a shared workspace for automation setup, approvals, and execution monitoring, with recovery controls for interrupted runs.
